Having used the pandemic to turn his passion for music and writing into a career, Tom Williams has since been published in the most esteemed music publications

A regular contributor to Paste Magazine, No Depression, The Line of Best Fit and Slant Magazine, among many more outlets, Williams has interviewed musicians, reviewed hundreds of albums, covered the Welsh music scene, and become an expert in all things country music and alternative.

Williams previously founded and edited the site Breakthrough - a publication which focused on culture and current affairs and enjoyed a team of three dozen regular contributors.

Williams has a law and politics degree from Cardiff University, which involved completing a dissertation centred on the role of music in politics throughout the 20th and 21st century. He is now completing a masters degree in Journalism at Kingston University - London’s third highest ranked university for journalism.

Williams is currently deputy editor of Kingston’s flagship local news website, the Kingston Courier.
